My Limp...
Is a day- by- day journal of Jacob’s 1000 kilometre walk through Armenia and Artsakh (Nagorno Karabagh)
The journey took place in May, June and July of 2002, with a photograph chosen from the many from each day and a brief narrative In English and Armenian.
Live the adventure through My Limp one that every Armenian dreams of doing, and Jacob hopes that it inspires one to do so, because it is an incredible experience one can not explain or tell, although many who have perused this book come close toliving it.
Jacobs 4th book and his 3rd self published, which was printed in late 2009. It is replacing his last book Armenia -Land of Contrast, which had great feedback from all.
The book is titled Picture Armenia, a soft covered pictorial A4 size and contains 123 images (121 colour, 2 B&W) 11 of which are digital, and a brief introductory text on Armenia and captions accompanying each image in English and Armenian. The book also contains images of parts of historical Armenia (Van & Ani) and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabagh)
The images Jacob has captured depicted the country of its history to its present day.
The photographs in the book are a small part of Jacob’s large collection, he has visited Armenia 25 times since his first visit back in June 1991 and his 2 trips to Historical Armenia
Jacob’s camera work and artistry bring to life the Landscape, Architecture, Faces and Nature, of this timeless country.
This pictorial is the best gift anyone can give or have to present Armenia to the rest of the world (Universe) and should be placed in every Armenian home. “Yes folks you can put it in a time capsule and send it off into space or bury it with your beloved”
At the moment the book is only available in Armenia in selected outlets
